Patchwork Communities is the story of a lovingly created piece of artwork representing people and places across the Chichester District, crafted over 12 months by members of the local communities.
The project’s aim was to stitch together the heart and history of Chichester’s fascinating surroundings, with 12 local groups coming together to design and sew their own piece of patchwork, to be pieced together to create a patchwork quilt depicting the area through the eyes of its residents.
The accompanying booklet ‘Patchwork Communities’, designed and produced by Buzzword, gives the full story of the love and dedication behind the creation of each community’s patch.
The finished Patchwork has been placed as an exhibit for all to see at Chichester’s Novium Museum, and can be viewed until 1st May 2016. Entry is free, and the accompanying booklet is available to take away as a memento.
