Chichester based independent Hotel and Restaurant Crouchers underwent a complete rebrand to tie in with the opening of their four brand new, high-end holiday let cottages.
We had worked with Crouchers on their branding, website, digital and offline marketing in the past, so we were delighted to be appointed to work with them again on an impactful and all-encompassing new brand identity.
By executing the design and implementation of a new brand style across all communications, the ultimate message was to convey a top-notch destination experience where families and couples could relax in stylish accommodation in the midst of quiet countryside surroundings.
After reviewing the existing visual identity with the client, it was agreed the emphasis of the new branding would be focused on the rustic, home-grown aspect of Crouchers’ semi-rural position. Inspiration for the new name and logo was drawn from the surrounding apple orchards, and Crouchers Orchards sprung into life.

The logo was carried through all aspects of the brand, using warm, contemporary colours to differentiate the various products offered. The four new cottages were given individual names (taken from different varieties of British apples).
Bright, eye-catching imagery throughout the new website was captured by commissioning a professional, two-day photoshoot. For authenticity, Crouchers’ own staff are featured during a normal working day; the close-up, aspirational ‘lifestyle’ photography reflects a destination experience desirable to Crouchers Orchards’ target audience. The website is fully responsive – looking great on any device – with plenty of calls to action and click-through buttons for the smoothest user journey from homepage through to making a booking.
