Tim Peake is a former Apache pilot, flight instructor, test pilot and current European Space Agency astronaut.
Having previously worked alongside Chichester’s Novium Museum on their popular Tim Peake Exhibition, we were approached by Tim and his wife Rebecca to design and build a highly visual and immersive new website; a hub of information and resources offering a slick user-experience.
The brief was to incorporate lots of fun information into the new site, using videos and photos supplied by Tim. ‘Tim’s View’ is an interactive means of showcasing some of the stunning images captured whilst looking down at the Earth during his 6 months on board the International Space Station; a particular highlight of this project.
For the logo and branding we explored various colour palettes to tie in with the overall theme of the website. The deep blue tone which is used throughout the site was far and away the clear winner here.
