AMDEA is the UK trade association for the manufacturers of small and large domestic appliances. Its members include most of the UK’s top selling brands of major white goods.
Through AMDEA’s ‘Know Watt’s What’ campaign, the ongoing aim is to help homes across the UK combat rising energy prices by choosing and using their appliances’ most efficient features, and sharing useful tips on the money-saving merits of sustainability.
Working alongside AMDEA’s campaign team and our digital partners Fandango Digital (digital media, social and SEO) and ProAction Media (video and photography), we designed and developed the campaign creative and comprehensive digital toolkit to deliver sound advice to a targeted audience of home appliance users and owners.
The campaign toolkit was also provided to the retailers themselves; helping them better inform their customers about the energy-saving potential of today’s domestic appliances.
The campaign hugely exceeded its target, with a 12,903% increase in AMDEA site visitors versus previous weeks, 50 million social media impressions and 156.2 million in traditional media reach.
In February 2023, AMDEA picked up a top award for the campaign, beating stiff competition to win the Campaign of the Year at the Trade Association Forum’s TAF Awards in London.
In November 2024, AMDEA scooped the Bronze award for the campaign, in the category of Best Awareness Campaign or Advancement of a Cause category at the Association of Excellence Awards, held at a prestigious London event.
